Terms of Service

Instant Client is operated by Squiggly Labs Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) — an Australian company. You can reach us at hi@instantclient.ai.

Instant Client is a practice management tool for accounting and advisory firms. It includes a client CRM, document tools, website builder, AI assistant, email automations, and related features (the “Service”). We may add or remove features over time.

• You must be at least 18 and have authority to bind the business you're signing up for.
• You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, including the actions of people you invite.
• Keep your password safe. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You can close your account at any time from the billing screen.

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions auto-renew at the start of each billing cycle until cancelled. You can cancel any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; we don't refund partial periods.

Stripe processes payments on our behalf. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything illegal or to send unsolicited bulk email.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape at industrial scale, or interfere with the Service.
• Upload content that infringes someone else's rights, including client data you don't have permission to process.
• Resell access to the Service without our written consent.

You own the data you put into the Service (clients, documents, website content, etc.). You grant us the right to host, process, and display it as needed to run the Service.

When you use the AI assistant or related features, your prompts and the relevant context (e.g. a client record, document body) may be sent to our AI providers (currently OpenAI). We don't use your data to train models. See our Privacy Policy for the details.

We work hard to keep the Service available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend the Service briefly for maintenance, fixes, or security reasons.

We may change features, pricing, or these terms with reasonable notice. Material changes get a heads-up by email or in-app notice at least 14 days in advance.

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others. On termination you can export your data for 30 days; after that we'll delete it.

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death/personal injury, or other liability that can't lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes go to the courts of New South Wales.
